About

At Black Business Community Network

At BBCN, we are dedicated to empowering Black communities and businesses in the UK by addressing systemic barriers to sustainability, equity, and economic advancement. We are committed to fostering long-term social, economic, and environmental sustainability through research, advocacy, business development, and community engagement.

Our work spans multiple sectors including health, business, education, housing and governance to actively promote black representation in civic engagement and research like health, and other social determinant of health like housing, employment and education.

Through strategic partnerships and training programmes, we equip organisations with the knowledge and tools needed to embed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) into their operations, fostering inclusive workplaces and communities.

BBCN also serves as a hub for Black entrepreneurship, offering funding consultancy, business mentorship, and promotional platforms to elevate Black-owned businesses. Our initiatives drive innovation, encourage investment in Black enterprises, and advocate for fair representation in decision-making spaces.

Our capacity-building programmes help to educate and inspire the Black community to engage in research, civic participation, and policy advocacy, strengthening collective resilience and influence.
